English Oak Bookcase
This bookcase was made to fit a particular space in the room but is still free-standing so it can be moved in the future. A fitted item would have to stay if the house was sold but in this instance a valuable piece of furniture will always remain in the family. The tiered design gives unexpected balance and lightness for such a large bookcase and allows for a collection of books that vary in size. This is the perfect example of a one-off piece being made to suit the individual needs of a client.
