Wall Mounted Cabinet
Several variations of this design have been made. In each case fine cabinet making has been applied to strikingly unusual wood that in other circumstances would have been considered waste. In the example photographed the book-matched door panels feature splits that were a result of a bark intrusion caused by damage to the tree during its growth. The handles have been fashioned from an offcut of those panels. There is no chance of duplicating such natural features but when similar cabinets are ordered an attempt will be made to source other interesting timber.
